St. Peter's College
St. Peter's College, a recognized hallmark of education was established on 18 January 1922 by Rev. Fr. Maurice Le Goc. With the dawn of 2012 St. Peter' College steps into its 90th Year.
Guided and spearheaded by many outstanding Rectors over the past 89 years, St. Peter's College has braved many a storm and risen to be one of the leading Educational Institutions in Sri Lanka. It now stands as a firm rock of education catering to the demands of a modern generation.
The most important date in the history of the college is April 8 th 1927. The College established its own identity that day. The Colombo South branch of St. Joseph's College Colombo was registered as a separate Secondary school by Gazette notification No: 7575 of 2 nd April, 1927 with the name St. Peter's College, Colombo 04.
The celebrations in connection with the re-naming of the College had been held on Wednesday, 29th June during the feast of St. Peter with a high Mass sung by Very. Rev. Fr. M. J. Le Goc assisted by Rev. Fr. Morel and Theobald Silva. After Mass, a colourful ceremony had taken place on the lawn in front of the College. The College Flag with the honourary colours Blue, White and Gold was blessed by Rev. Fr. Le Goc and hoisted.

Something About Us
The ICT Club of St. Peters College, Colombo 04 is a very active and versatile assosiation both inside College as well as in the local arena. The Club has proved to be one of the most outstanding and hardworking amongst College groups in Sri Lanka.
